Welcome to the website of OCF (Ormskirk Christian Fellowship)<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n We normally meet at St. Bede’s School, St. Anne’s Road, Ormskirk, L39 4TA<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n at 10.30 a.m. each Sunday<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Entrance to the car parks will be via the gate on St Anne’s Road<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n OCF has been established in Ormskirk for over forty years and is made up of believers committed to the Lord, to each other and to those in the local and wider community.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Our mission is to be a \u2018habitation of God\u2019s presence within the community\u2019 which means that we <\/span>serve and love those around us in the power of God\u2019s Spirit.<\/span><\/p>\n You can find our core values on this website and a page that outlines our \u2018Way of Life\u2019 that is in line <\/span>with the teachings and life of Jesus, in step with the Holy Spirit and lived in the light of the God\u2019s words as <\/span>revealed in the Bible.<\/span><\/p>\n We\u2019d love you to be part of all we are becoming and join us in being a habitation of God\u2019s <\/span>presence within the community.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n If you would like to know more, please spend some time exploring this web-site and listen to some <\/span>of our pod-casts under the sermons section.<\/span><\/p>\n We look forward to meeting you.<\/span> \u00a0<\/p>\n Church Service<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Our Sunday meetings usually begin at 10.30 a.m. and end about 12 noon, and are held at St. Bede’s School.<\/span><\/p>\n We are always glad to welcome visitors to our service where we wo<\/span>rship God, share encouragements, listen to teaching from the Bible and <\/span>connect over a brew and biscuit or cake at the end of the service.<\/span><\/p>\n \u2018Kids Church\u2019 takes place in a nearby room during the sermon.<\/span><\/p>\n Locations of other meetings in the week, are usually announced on Sundays.<\/span><\/p>\n We, as a church, do not own a building (although we are in the process of purchasing our own <\/span>building in the centre of Ormskirk) and during the week smaller groups will meet in the homes of <\/span>church members to pray, worship, study the scriptures and enjoy being together.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n God has blessed us with gifted musicians, who naturally play a part in leading Sunday Worship.\u00a0 <\/span>Our style of worship is designed to allow you to give your best to God or, if you are only there as <\/span>an observer, to relax and take everything in.\u00a0 We believe worship is for the purpose of praising and <\/span>pleasing our great God, that He ought to be given our heartfelt love, and that He is glad to bless <\/span>us.\u00a0 Therefore, although the leaders are supervising the meetings, we want you to feel free to stand <\/span>or sit as you please.\u00a0 Members of the church contribute to our services sharing testimonies, <\/span>prayers and prophetic words. \u00a0<\/p>\n Please contact us by email at\u00a0office@ocf.org.uk<\/a>\u00a0for further information.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Latest Sermon<\/strong><\/p> Date: 20251012 Speaker: Pete & Pip Gardner<\/p> Title: Praying for a World in Crisis: Awakening Faith & Hope<\/p> Guest Speaker<\/p>
