OCF has been established in Ormskirk for over forty years and is made up of believers committed to the Lord, to each other and to those in the local and wider community. Our mission is to be a ‘habitation of God’s presence within the community’ which means that we serve and love those around us in the power of God’s Spirit.
You can find our core values on this website and a page that outlines our ‘Way of Life’ that is in line with the teachings and life of Jesus, in step with the Holy Spirit and lived in the light of the God’s words as revealed in the Bible.
We’d love you to be part of all we are becoming and join us in being a habitation of God’s presence within the community.
If you would like to know more, please spend some time exploring this web-site and listen to some of our pod-casts under the sermons section.
We look forward to meeting you.

Senior Leader – OCF
Church Service
Our Sunday meetings usually begin at 10.30 a.m. and end about 12 noon, and are held at St. Bede’s School.
We are always glad to welcome visitors to our service where we worship God, share encouragements, listen to teaching from the Bible and connect over a brew and biscuit or cake at the end of the service.
‘Kids Church’ takes place in a nearby room during the sermon.
Locations of other meetings in the week, are usually announced on Sundays.
We, as a church, do not own a building (although we are in the process of purchasing our own building in the centre of Ormskirk) and during the week smaller groups will meet in the homes of church members to pray, worship, study the scriptures and enjoy being together.
God has blessed us with gifted musicians, who naturally play a part in leading Sunday Worship. Our style of worship is designed to allow you to give your best to God or, if you are only there as an observer, to relax and take everything in. We believe worship is for the purpose of praising and pleasing our great God, that He ought to be given our heartfelt love, and that He is glad to bless us. Therefore, although the leaders are supervising the meetings, we want you to feel free to stand or sit as you please. Members of the church contribute to our services sharing testimonies, prayers and prophetic words.
Please contact us by email at office@ocf.org.uk for further information.
